7SEVENTY7 is a 35-story luxury apartment tower located at 777 N. Van Buren Street in downtown Milwaukee. Commissioned by Northwestern Mutual and completed in 2018, the building features 310 upscale residential units, including 14 penthouses, and offers over 1,300 parking spaces. Designed to provide residents with hotel-like amenities, 7SEVENTY7 stands as a prominent addition to Milwaukee’s skyline.

Challenge

As one of the largest projects in Roman Electric’s history, 7SEVENTY7 required comprehensive design/build services for electrical, low voltage, and audio/visual systems. The building’s architectural design, featuring minimal drywall ceilings, posed unique challenges for the installation of electrical conduits and systems.

Solution

Drawing on experience from previous large-scale projects, Roman Electric employed advanced laser positioning technology to embed conduits directly into the building’s concrete structure. This innovative approach ensured precise installation of electrical systems without compromising the building’s aesthetic. The project encompassed energy-efficient solutions, low voltage systems, and comprehensive power and lighting installations, contributing to the building’s modern and luxurious appeal.
