Roman Electric was contracted to install energy-efficient lighting at over 50 McDonald’s locations in Wisconsin, replacing traditional fixtures that were each burning 175 Watts, 24 hours a day.
Roman removed up to 40 fixtures at each restaurant and replaced them with 50 Watt LED flat panels, resulting in a 125 Watt reduction per fixture. The new energy-efficient lights also minimize the possibility of food contamination caused by lamp breakage and reduce maintenance costs as each is covered by a 5-year warranty.
