Affiliated Foods – Refrigerated Warehouse Project
Affiliated Foods expanded its operations with a new 301,250 sq. ft. refrigerated warehouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Roman Electric was responsible for providing all power wiring and installing control wiring for the ammonia-based refrigeration system, ensuring efficient and reliable operations throughout the facility.
Challenge
The warehouse required a distributed electrical system to support various refrigeration equipment. This included underground feeds beneath a heated concrete pad and overhead feeds to penthouses situated 40 feet above grade, necessitating precise coordination and execution.
Solution
Roman Electric leveraged the expertise of two veteran electricians to coordinate closely with the refrigeration contractor. This collaboration ensured a high-quality installation that met the complex requirements of the facility’s refrigeration systems.
