Roman Electric was pivotal to the success of our job. They were the first subcontractor on site and the last to ensure everything worked properly. They made a seamless transition for our client into their new facility.
Glenn Rieder
Glenn Rieder, a premier custom architectural millwork manufacturer and commercial interior contractor, expanded its operations with a new 118,140 sq. ft. facility in West Allis, Wisconsin. To support the intricate requirements of their manufacturing processes, Roman Electric was engaged to deliver comprehensive electrical infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration of advanced equipment and systems.
Challenge
The project demanded precise underground electrical feeds for both line voltage and low voltage connections to over 200 pieces of equipment. Achieving stub-up locations within an inch of their designated positions was critical to accommodate the facility’s complex machinery layout and maintain operational efficiency.
Solution
Utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and a Trimble Total Station, Roman Electric meticulously planned and executed the conduit installations. This technology-driven approach ensured exact placement of all stub-ups, meeting the stringent spatial requirements and facilitating a smooth equipment installation process.
