Wisconsin Shower Door Project
Wisconsin Shower Door, a leading custom glass and shower enclosure manufacturer in Milwaukee, recently expanded operations with a Core & Shell build-out that included specialized machine wiring for their production floor. This project was designed to support the company’s state-of-the-art fabrication equipment, ensuring the facility could meet growing demand for high-quality shower doors and glass solutions across southeastern Wisconsin.
Challenge
The new machinery, imported from Italy, operated on European voltage (400V), which is incompatible with standard U.S. industrial power systems. Integrating this specialized equipment into the Milwaukee facility required careful planning and electrical adaptation to meet both operational needs and safety standards.
Solution
Roman Electric installed step-up transformers to convert the incoming 400V European power requirements to the U.S. standard 480V, enabling seamless integration of the Italian machinery. This solution ensured optimal equipment performance, minimized downtime, and supported Wisconsin Shower Door’s commitment to precision manufacturing for their customers throughout the Milwaukee area and beyond.
